About the Program and Staff.
The Owner and Operator, Rebecca Hancock, has been doing daycare for 29 years. She has an excessive training background. She is trained in CPR, First Aid, and SIDS. She is also obtaining her teaching degree in early education through the Maryland State Department of Education. She has also completed training in the Maryland Model for School Readiness.
The program is full of activities and things for the children to do. During the day the children participate in a wide range of activities. Many of these activities encourage gross and fine motor skills development. They also encourage reading, social and emotional skills.
Kay's Playhouse participates in Child and Adult Care food program. Kay's Playhouse also participates in Purchase of Care and also accepts subsidy vouchers.
